In May 2014 FootballCV organised a ‘Football for Heroes’ charity football event at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
Raising thousands of pounds for UK military charity Help for Heroes, the Defence Medical Services football team were beaten 6-2 by a Legends XI that was captained by former Manchester United, Coventry City and Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin, Match of the Day pundit and former Everton star Kevin Kilbane and managed by former England Under-20 coach Aidy Boothroyd.
